For the 2023-2024 school year, Crawford Plains School is full in planned classes in both the regular and French Immersion programs from Kindergarten to Grade 6. At this time, we are exclusively accepting students who reside within our attendance area in Kindergarten through Grade 6. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enroll in another Division school with space in planned classes. If you are a new resident attendance area student in Kindergarten to Grade 6, please contact the school to learn about your options.

Whether you choose to enroll in our English program, our French Immersion program, or our Interactions program, our staff are committed to providing high quality and engaging learning experiences. We are lucky to have a very active Parent Council, known as our PATT Association, who enrich school experiences by supporting many initiatives over the course of the year.
Kindergarten 2023 - 2024
On February 1, 2023 Crawford Plains School will begin accepting new registrations for our French Immersion and English Kindergarten programs. All Kindergarten students, as well as students in other grades who are not currently enrolled at Edmonton Public Schools, will need to submit a completed Student Registration Form on the Division website. The form can be accessed here (New Student Registration).
Children who are five years old on or before December 31, 2023 may register in Kindergarten for the 2023–24 school year.
Space in our French Immersion Program is limited. Selections for the program are not made on first come first serve basis. As we strive to meet the needs of all students interested in attending our school, it will be important to apply during our pre-registration time which ends on April 14, 2023. After this date we will review all applications and confirm if we have space for all those that may be interested. School choice options are more limited after this date, and only those with space will remain open for registrations.
For more information regarding Kindergartion registration visit Edmonton Public School's website. Registering for Kindergarten.
Our school offers limited placements in a specialized Interactions Program. Interactions programming supports students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). ASD impacts how people understand what they see, hear and sense. This lifelong disability can result in difficulties in communication, social relationships, behaviour or learning. Although some students with ASD achieve at grade level, many have uneven or delayed achievement.
We currently offer a mixed grade classroom with a high adult to student ratio which allows us to provide the individual supports our students require. Our priorities are built on developing communication and regulation skills while moving towards independence. With a strong focus on literacy and numeracy skills, our classroom provides differentiated learning opportunities matched to each child’s learning potential from emerging skills to age appropriate skills on the learning continuum. Every student in our Interactions program is a member of our greater school community, and has opportunities to take part in all aspects of school life.
There are a number of schools that offer Interactions programming in our area. You can visit the EPSB Interactions Program Overview page for more information about the services we offer.
Making the choice to select an Interactions program is an important decision. The videos below will help you better understand what our teams can offer you in this specialized setting:

If you are interested in having your child join our Interactions program, a special application must be submitted by your current school’s principal. We are unable to accept parent requests at this time.
